Gençlik iksiri gibi ilaç .
Fransa'da Strasbourg Üniversitesi uzmanları, suya karıştırılarak içilen ve vücut aktivitelerini yüzde 60 oranında yükselten bir kimyasal ilaç geliştirdi. Myoinositol Trispyrophophate (ITPP) adı verilen kimyasal kanda bulunan oksijeni tutmaya yarayan Hemoglobin proteinlerinin performansını artırarak vücudu daha aktif hale getiriyor. Dokulardan karbondioksiti alarak, akciğerlerde oksijenle değişimi sağlayan hemoglobin normalde içeriğindeki oksijenin yüzde 25’inin kana karışmasını sağlıyor. Ancak Gençlik iksiri olarak adlandırılan “ITPP” ilacı sayesinde kana karışan oksijen seviyesi yüzde 25’le kadar ulaşabiliyor. İlacın vücuttaki etkisi ise bir hafta sürüyor.

Fareler üzerinde yapılan deneylerde ITTP ilacının kana karışmasından sonra hayvanlardaki vücut aktivitelerinin yüzde 60 oranında arttığı görüldü. ITPP kendi başına oksijen sağlamadığına dikkat çeken araştırmanın başkan Jean-Marie Lehn, “Normalde Hemoglobin bünyesindeki oksijenin yüzde 25’inin kana karışmasına izin veriyor.

Ancak bu ilaç sayesinde bu oran yüzde 20 artarak vücuda daha fazla oksijen girmesini sağlıyor. Aktivite olarak vücuttaki değişiklik ise yüzde 60 oranında oluyor” diye konuştu.

Buluşun özellikle kalp hastalıkları tedavisinde bir çığır açacağına dikkat çeken uzmanlar, hamlaşmış vücutlu yaşlıların daha sağlıklı olmalarını sağlayacağını ifade ettiler.
