DNA ile suçlunun yüzü belirlenecek
Amerikalı bilimadamları olay yerinde bulunan suçluya ait DNA örneği ile suçlunun yüz hatlarının ve ten renginin tespit edilebileceğini söyledi.Pennsylvania Üniversitesi’nden Dr. Mark Shriver, "Genetik haritalandırma sayesinde cilt rengini ve yüz şeklini belirleyen genler sayesinde suçlunun yüzü belirlenebilecek" dedi.

Adli tıbbın, DNA’dan yola çıkarak suçluları bulması yaygın bir teknik haline geldi. 2004 yılında görgü tanıklarının beyaz olduğunu söyleyen yedi kadının ölümünden sorumlu olan bir suçlunun, DNA sayesinde aslında siyah olduğu belirlenmişti. Seri katil Derek Todd Lee, bu sayede yakalanmıştı.
