Facebook'un kurucusu Mark Zuckerberg'un başı, ünlü websitesi fikrini arkadaşlarından çaldığı iddiası ile dertte. Zuckerberg'in anlaşma için kapalı kapılar ardında 65 milyon doları gözden çıkardığı açıklandı.

ConnectU kurucuları Tyler ve Cameron Winklevoss okul için hazırladıkları sosyal ağ web sayfasının yazılım kodlarını tamamlaması için, Harvard'da okurken, Mark Zuckerberg'le işbirliği yaptıklarını ancak Zuckerberg'in kodları ve fikri çalarak Facebook'u Şubat 2004'te hayata geçirdiğini iddia ettiler.

Facebook fikri ve isim hakkı üzerinde hak iddia eden ConnectU sahipleri ve avukatları Mark Zuckerberg ve avukatları ile anlaşma için masaya oturdu.

Anlaşma gereği ConnectU, Facebook tarafından satın alındı ancak şatışta gerçekleşen nakit ve hisse senedi oranları mahkeme tutanaklarına göre gizli tutuluyor.
